About Space Waves

Space Waves is a free arcade game similar to Geometry Dash, you can play directly in your web browser. Developed by do.games and released in April 2024, it has gained popularity with over 1 million plays and high ratings like 8.9/10 on CrazyGames (from more than 1 million votes) and 4.5 stars on Google Play.

In the game, you control a small arrow-shaped ship that moves forward automatically through twisting space tunnels. It naturally bobs up and down in a wave motion, and your only job is to dodge obstacles by timing your inputs perfectly to avoid crashes. Hit anything, and you restart the level instantly. The goal is to reach the end of each tunnel.

The game has 33 levels in total, and you can pick any one from the menu—no need to unlock them in order. Levels use color-coded faces to show difficulty: green for easy ones with wide paths, yellow for medium, and red for hard with narrow gaps and fast turns. Backgrounds shift colors like neon blues and purples, but the focus stays on the tunnel ahead.

Tunnels fill with walls that block your way. Spikes stick out from sides. Rotating gears spin with teeth that cut if you touch. Some spots have thorns or blocks that float. Slopes make the wave bounce odd. In hard levels, obstacles come close together. You weave between gear teeth at just the right time. One site calls them cogs, but they all spin the same. Enemy ships show up in some plays, but main goal stays dodging.

How to Play Space Waves

The arrow moves forward on its own all the time. It goes up and down in a wave pattern. You hold a button to lift it up. Let go, and it drops down. That is all you do. Time your holds just right to miss walls and other things in your path. The screen scrolls from left to right, so you focus on what comes next. Crash into anything, and the level restarts. Beat a level, and you see a checkmark. Go back to the menu to try another one.

Use your mouse or keyboard. On a computer, hold the left mouse button to go up. Or press W, Spacebar, or the up arrow key. Let go to drop down. Press P to pause. On a phone or tablet, touch the screen to go up. Release to go down.
